Salman Khan pays a surprise visit to Dharmendra
Superstar Salman Khan is often compared to legendary actor Dharmendra. Be it his macho persona or his wacky dance moves, Sallu Bhai has drawn a lot of inspiration from the He-Man of Bollywood.
While riding high on the success of his latest release Tiger Zinda Hai, the Dabangg Khan took some time out to pay a surprise visit to his onscreen inspiration.
Delighted by the gesture, the 82-year-old Dharmendra took to Twitter to share a picture with Salman.
He wrote, “Deeply touched by your surprise visit to the farm today… you will always be a son to me @BeingSalmanKhan”
Salman Khan and Dharmendra are most remembered for starring together in Sohail Khan’s Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya.
In an earlier interview, Dharmendra had said that Salman Khan would totally fit the bill for his biopic.
“I think he (Salman) can do it. Salman is a darling… He has some habits like me… You all know Salman and his habits well. He has gone on me,” he had told The Hindu.
Meanwhile, Dharmendra is all set to return with a third installment of Yamla Pagla Deewana with sons Bobby and Sunny Deol.
Titled Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, the film will not feature Dharmendra as Bobby and Sunny’s father. Instead, the veretan actor will be seen in a role of a colourful and charming lawyer.
Salman Khan recently celebrated his 52nd birthday at his farmhouse in Panvel. He has two projects lined up in the near future: Remo D’Souza’s Race 3 and Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat.
